Hello — and thanks to those who attended and feasted at our annual meeting last month (and donated food to the pantry!) We’re thrilled to welcome new board members Jane Kasharina, Angelo Arredondo and Rita Tarr.
Lots discussed. We also met new neighbor and business owner Tyler Gresley, who won our grand prize Budnick Beautification Award for fixing up his properties at 1560 13th St. He has a “handy man” business AND developed a dog park you can use for a very small fee per hour.
Interested in the State Street Corridor? SESNA and NEN were very involved with the city to create a more “livable/walkable” corridor — so COME TO THE OPEN HOUSE for a progress update on Wednesday, Dec. 10, from 6 to 7:30 at Court St. Christian Church, 1699 Court St. NE. Brief presentation at 6; the event is open-house style.
Our next SESNA meeting will be a special opportunity to visit the new Operations Building community room to answer questions and concerns about SIDEWALKS! Jan. 27 at 6:30 p.m. More coming.
